When creating your wordpress templates, you need to make sure you have the wordpress.org link for Template Tags right at your finger tips. When designing fuctionality into templates I’m usually thinking about what I need to do, but don’t know how to do it . I use the Template Tag link (bookmarked) and review all the built in options that are there for me to use. It always helps to simplify my thinking and is extremely useful.
